About Mena Dragonfly

Mena Dragonfly is the work of Melanie Mena.

I love to make pottery & I’m driven by the desire to share my pottery with the world. Nothing makes me happier than hearing stories of how the pottery I made is being used and enjoyed.

Each piece of pottery is handmade by me. I make each form on my potter's wheel and I glaze each piece myself. For The Dragonfly line of pots I hand build the individual dragonflies so no two are exactly alike.

There are three lines of pottery:
- The Dragonfly: The pottery is decorated with three-dimensional dragonflies and glazed with a clear glaze.

- Dots: The pottery is glazed white with coloured dots on the inside, for example a Dots mug will have an orange dot of glaze on the inside.

- Wobbly Shotglasses: These shotglasses are a lot of fun. They are glazed white and the rims are glazed a different colour, such as orange, blue or black. The bottom edge of the band of colour marks one-ounce - after that you're on your own.

The pottery is all food safe and can be placed in a dishwasher or microwave.
